Duncan is a great teacher, never rushes you and makes sure to take things at your own pace. If you make a mistake, Duncan always has great advice on how to improve and never make the mistake again. Overall, Duncan ensures that by your test date you are fully prepared and road worthy.

Very patient and thorough with running you through the processes of driving, even to a first time learner. Would recommend Duncan to anyone learning to drive in the Barton area.

I’d dipped in and out of driving for years, but once I started lessons with Duncan, after some not‑so‑great experiences elsewhere, everything changed.

At my lowest points he was always patient and helped rebuild my confidence, remembering the things I struggled with and making sure to work on them until it clicked.

He explains everything clearly and practically and his car is lovely to drive—smooth, modern, and perfect for the test.

By my final go I felt ready for anything and now I’m confident to get out on the road. Top bloke, brilliant instructor, and great company. Highly recommend!

Amazing instructor!!

I came from another instructor, I was a very nervous driver who lacked a lot of confidence in what I was doing and always second guessed myself while on the road. Also due to my hearing problems I always struggled to listen out for cars, which made me worry even more with driving.

However, my first lesson with him in August all the way to passing in February, he rose my confidence a lot and allowed me to become a confident driver he also took into account my hearing and worked around it, helping me get used to driving with hearing problems.

All in all, great instructor and couldn’t thank him more!!
